Bubblers: The Precision of Drip with None of the Maintenance Hassles

Hunter introduces a pair of products where new technology helps a time-tested concept take a great leap forward: the PCB pressure compensating bubbler and its made-specifically-for-attachment-to-female-threaded-pop-up-sprays alternative, the PCN.

Plants that require deep watering have long been stuck with irrigation products that perform at the same level of inefficiency. But that all changes now, since Hunter has developed a bubbler that works under the same concept as drip irrigation - measured application of water specifically tailored to the plant's need, without water runoff or waste. With the ability to compensate for pressure differences, the pressure compensating bubbler (PCB) allows the output of water to remain constant regardless of the input pressure, resulting in a precise application.

The PCB takes the guesswork out of using bubblers by giving you a choice of four different models. With a selection that offers flow rates of either .25, .50. 1.0 or 2.0 gallons per minute, you can choose precisely the one that you need to meet each individual plant's requirements and be assured that all of your greenery will get exactly the amount of water they require. The PCB can be fitted to any 1/2" riser for use in tree wells, planter boxes, shrub beds and more. Or choose the AFB model which pressure compensates to a 2.0 GPM flow and can be fine-tuned with a stainless steel screw adjustment.

PCN Bubbler NozzlesHunter has also made this technology available for pop-up spray applications. Our new pressure compensating nozzle (PCN) provides all the deep watering benefits of our bubbler...plus, the advantage of sitting atop a riser that retracts into the ground when not in use. Compared to traditional drip, you'll find the PCN a solution more appealing to look at and less likely to be tampered with (in short, a product that all of you specifiers will love).

With the PCB and PCB, every plant, shrub or tree can receive the exact amount of water required with no excess runoff or waste. As if that wasn't enough, these new products provide yet another advantage over drip - underground installation means no fancy filtration, unsightly above-ground tubes and considerably less chance of damage.

Both these new products are now available at your favorite authorized Hunter distributor.
