Hunter Now has a Full Institutional Line-Up Offering Solutions for All Commercial SitesUntil recently, we were almost there. Not quite, but almost. With an ever-growing product line, Hunter was just about able to offer commercial site installations a Complete Hunter System – i.e., a system made up entirely of Hunter components. We had the rotors, controllers and valves, all we lacked was an institutional-grade spray. With the recent introduction of the new Institutional Spray, now all Hunter fans can choose to install a system where every product can proudly boast the name of the most respected company in the irrigation industry. Making the Grade at SchoolsWhen you have a high traffic site like a school campus that’s home to hundreds of kids, your chief concern is being able to install the type of irrigation products that can stand up to some “handling.” Our new Institutional Spray was created especially for environments like this. Constructed of heavy duty ABS plastic, the new spray boasts an extra thick body and cap, as well as stabilizing body ribs for easy installation and servicing. It makes the perfect complement to ICV valves, Institutional Series rotors (I-20, I-25 or I-40, depending upon the size of the landscape) and an ICC controller. For outdoor use, the ICC offers a metal or stainless steel cabinet, in wall mount or pedestal versions, that can go as high as 48 stations. A Success at BusinessGot a mid-sized landscape, such as a business park? The I-20 is packed with exceptional features – in fact, no other rotor in its class gives you more. A heavy duty spring with reliable retraction. Hunter’s famous FloStop® feature that easily stops water flow through a single head while the system is running. Even a stainless steel option for greater protection. If you have a site with large spray zones and long lateral line runs, you’ll appreciate the fact that the new Institutional Spray has a built-in pressure regulator that provides controlled, reliable pressure at a true 30 psi. Looking for the right valve? Durability and reliability are the most important characteristics to look for. The Hunter ICV, created to handle the wide range of conditions different commercial sites will bring, includes both a fabric reinforced flow control and diaphragm as standard features and can consistently withstand a pressure rating of up to 200 psi. If you desire a brass valve, Hunter offers the HBV, a contamination-resistant valve created for the fiercest conditions found on a commercial site. And, for indoor use, the ICC controller features a plastic cabinet, in either pedestal or wall mount versions, that can hold modules for up to 32 stations. Playing Well in ParksA Hunter system is ideal for open spaces. For larger turf areas, the I-25 and I-40 provide durability and performance. These popular rotors feature the ProTech™ safety system with an extra-thick rubber cover, a wide range of nozzles that provide optimum performance in both primary and secondary coverage, stainless steel risers (standard on I-40), and drain check valves (to a full 15-foot check height on the I-40). Both rotors are available in high speed versions and the I-40 is also offered in a dual opposing nozzle full-circle version (I-40-ON). In addition to broad expanses of turf, many parks also feature small beds. The new Institutional Spray accepts a wide array of Hunter nozzles specifically designed for such needs, including pressure compensating bubblers, micro-sprays and a trio of new short-range nozzles (of course, fixed or adjustable arc nozzles, as well as corner or side strips are also available). A Winner on the FieldSports fields have long been Hunter’s most loyal users of I-25 and I-40 rotors. But, today, the number of these facilities that are also installing ICC controllers continues to grow. And, why not? With its numerous features and ability to expand up to 48 stations, it’s the controller best suited to handle the wide range of needs that a sports field might offer. The ICC is where Hunter introduced the concept of personalized construction for controllers. The way it works is simple: the ICC starts with a base unit of 8 stations to which modules of either 4 or 8 stations can be added to create a system that can handle the different needs for turf, shrubs and flower beds, as well as any special watering restrictions. The perfect choice of valve at stadiums, diamonds and pitches is the ICV. Thanks to captive bonnet fasteners that can be loosened or tightened with a variety of common contractor tools, it is exceptionally easy to service. Handles the Pressure of the CityFor government buildings, city parks or other public spaces that may be faced with municipal water supplies – which can often mean low pressures and smaller budgets – Hunter can provide a system to suit these particular needs as we Start with the new I-60 rotor, which gives you the ability to space rotors far enough apart without the need for a booster pump. Since it uses less water to run, the I-60 eliminates the need to install larger pipe, which translates into even greater savings. Install the ICV valve and be sure to consider the added option of the Accu-Set™ pressure regulator. ICV Filter Sentry™ system that ensures reliable operation with biological or effluent water sources. Round out the system with an ICC controller, which includes all the features one could want: dial programming, a large easy-to-read display, programmable master valve, 365-day calendar, rain sensor bypass, seasonal adjustment and Hunter’s simplified user set-up. The Finishing Touch for All Sites: Mini-Clik®The world’s leading name in weather sensing devices, Hunter Mini-Clik can be counted on as a reliable and accurate way to prevent sprinklers from coming on during or after precipitation. The Mini-Clik is easy to install and can be adjusted to actuate at various rainfall quantities to suit your local needs. By housing the Mini-Clik in a Sensor Guard, you receive the added security of a compact vandal resistant enclosure – the the perfect answer for sports facilities, golf courses and municipal sites where heavy traffic is an issue. Whatever particular models of rotors, valves, sprays and controllers you choose to create your Hunter Complete System, you’ll be pleased to know that each product always features Hunter’s unsurpassed 5-year warranty whenever the product is part of the Institutional Series. So not only are you choosing a superior product, but you are also receiving a superior warranty. |
