Hunter Offers the Ultimate in Spray Nozzles, That’s the Long (17') and Short (2') of it

Fixed Pattern NozzlesWhen spray sprinklers are used in irrigation systems, fast and easy installation are two of the most important concerns for the installer. Both of those concerns are put at ease when the choice is a Hunter Fixed Pattern Nozzle.

While there are many landscapes that require precise fine-tuning to achieve the optimum coverage, the vast amount of spray heads that contractors install call for the use of standard angle nozzles…that is, full-circle, half-circle and quarter-circle patterns. When installing nozzles along straight runs or in areas that require full-circles, labor will be saved by not having to adjust each nozzle to those common patterns.

With patterns that feature precise edges, Hunter Fixed Pattern Nozzles have been painstakingly designed to provide superior coverage and minimize wind drift. Factory set at 90° (quarter-circle), 180° (half-circle) or 360° (full circle) patterns, they are available in radius ranges of 7', 10', 12', 15', and 17', (2.1m, 3.0m, 3.7m, 4.6m, 5.2m) which can be reduced if needed for fine-tuning. Each of the five different nozzles are color-coded for quick and easy radius identification.

Hunter recently introduced a trio of Short Radius Nozzles in 2', 4' and 6' ranges (0.6m, 1.2m, 1.8 m). These new nozzles are just the answer for small spaces – a better solution than trying to drastically reduce the range on a nozzle designed for longer throws.

In addition, for more specialized needs, Hunter also features a full array of specialty nozzles, including left and right corner strips (5' x 15' pattern), a side strip (5' x 30' pattern) and micro-sprays. The low volume Micro-spray Nozzles are available in quarter-, half- and full-circle models, each designed to efficiently cover a 5' radius.

The clear advantage of using a Fixed Pattern Nozzle is an economic one. And, of course, the clear advantage of a Hunter Fixed Pattern Nozzle is the fact that it’s a Hunter product. That’s your assurance of receiving the highest quality, most thoroughly tested, most often imitated but never duplicated irrigation products available.
