Big News for Big Valve Needs: Hunter Introduces a 3" ICV

For irrigation systems that need a valve designed to handle large flows, the new 3" version of Hunter’s popular ICV valve fits the bill perfectly.

The 3" model is also the first version of the ICV with a combination globe/angle design, making it easily adaptable to any type of installation (all other ICV models are available in a globe design).

All ICV models are designed to withstand up to 220 PSI, truly a high pressure rating and well in excess of anything most sites will ever have to deal with.

Plus, the new 3" version can handle an even greater flow of water, up to an incredible 300 GPM. And, as on all ICVs, flow control is standard (plus, with a non-rising handle, the valve can be placed closer to the valve box lid, adding to the already easy servicing).

All ICV models also boast glass-filled nylon construction, which gives the valve exceptional body and bonnet strength and enables it to stand up to virtually whatever harsh conditions your site may have to dish out.

In addition, ICV valves feature a fabric-reinforced diaphragm that is manufactured from one of the strongest – and chemically-resistant – rubber compounds available (EPDM).

To enhance the already rugged features of the 3" ICV, consider adding the Filter Sentry™ option. Which helps keep microscopic contaminants to an absolute minimum.

You can also add the optional Accu-Set™ pressure regulator to ensure exact downstream pressure between 20 and 100 PSI. Accu-Set constantly adjusts as needed to provide a consistent outlet pressure regardless of inlet pressure variations.
