The Pro-C is modular, which means it can be expanded from a base unit of 3 stations to as large as 15 stations, simply by adding station modules to configure it to the desired size. Modularity not only allows you to customize the product to the particular size you need, it also helps maintain a simplified inventory.

Now, you no longer need to stock a whole array of different size controllers. You simply need to keep on hand just four items: indoor and outdoor Pro-C base units, and 3-station and 9-station plug-in modules.

Pro-C offers ease of operation combined with a full complement of features, including 3 independent programs each with up to 4 start times, long station run times, interval watering, true odd/even or day of the week scheduling, an “event day off” feature, superior surge protection, and a self-diagnostic short circuit detection system. Plus, a removable front panel puts desktop programming right in your hands.

The Pro-Spray’s heavy-duty ABS construction provides more stability in loose soils and strengthens it against heavy traffic, while the body cap is built strong to resist stress cracking in high pressures and extreme temperatures. The grit-resistant wiper seal prevents both stickups and flow-by leakage, allowing heads to be run on low pressures.

Hunter’s unique “pull ring”’ flush plug design provides directional flush, while keeping dirt from re-entering the line after flushing. And Pro-Spray offers the only field-installable check valve, to add when needed for specific heads to prevent low head drainage.

In addition, Hunter now has a superior line-up of fixed pattern nozzles with crisp, precise edges, optimum droplet size to minimize wind drift, plus a color-coded plug on top of the nozzle.

PGV is available in a complete line-up of different models, each suited to a distinctive type of landscape need.

The globe configuration (Hunter’s most popular PGV model) is for use on most residential installations. The globe male x male is the choice where polyethylene pipe is desired for lateral lines. The globe male x barb (the model with international appeal) is ideal for use with new “union style” manifold tees.

The PGV globe slip x slip is designed for use on residential systems where PVC pipe is used and fittings are attached with glue. And the angle model installs on top of a deep main line, allowing easy access to the valve for maintenance.

All 1" PGV valves are also available in a “Jar-Top” version for maximum convenience—all it takes is a simple twist to unscrew the top of the valve. No other valve is faster or easier to service.
