New "One Touch" Manual Start and Advance Makes Hunter Controladores Easier Than Ever

Out in the field, on visits to our factory, in the many cards, letters and e-mails we receive, Hunter listens to our customers. And that is reflected in what we sell, with introductions of new products and enhancements to old products centered around providing our customers with the features they desire.

"One Touch" Manual Start and Advance on the ICCOur latest case in point can be found in the SRC and ICC controllers. These two products have been on the market for several years now and each has acquired a loyal following – the SRC as one of the industry's best values for smaller sites and the ICC, with modules to "customize" the controller to the number of stations you need, designed for commercial landscapes of virtually any size.

What these two controllers now have to offer that makes them even better is a new "One Touch" Manual Start and Manual Rapid Advance feature, a technological achievement that advances the cause of convenience·an area in which we at Hunter are always aiming  to please.

The One Touch feature will run a manual program without affecting any previous program starts, making it a welcome presence for contractors performing spring starts or a routine scrolling through the stations to inspect the system. Homeowners will also find it to be a simpler way to run an additional cycle when extra watering is needed.

Here's how the One Touch feature works. With the controller in the "Run" position, simply push down on the "arrow" button for two seconds to start the first assigned station set up in program A (to select programs B or C – or also D on the ICC – just press the "PRG" button). Once that is done, you can either let the complete program run (in other words, a Manual Start) or simply proceed from station to station by pressing the "arrow" button (a Manual Rapid Advance). Please note that on the ICC, you can use either the left or right arrow to scroll through stations in either direction. Whether the One Touch feature is used to start or advance, no movement of the dial is necessary·ever.

It's a change that you, the customer, have been asking for. And it is just the latest example of how we at Hunter continue to make our products the best they can be·for you!
